Βιογραφικό/Faculty Bio

Pragidis Ioannis joined the Department of Economics faculty in the winter of 2013. He teaches International Economics I and Special Macroeconomic Issues to undergraduates. His academic research has concentrated mostly on fiscal and monetary policy as well as on financial topics such as contagion of financial markets, textual analysis on commodities etc. His work has been published in well-respected journals including, Journal of Financial Stability, Economic Modelling, Finance Research Letters. Pragidis is actively participating in European Union’s funded projects as principal investigator.
