In this course (1st semester, 6 ECTS), students acquire a comprehensive introduction to informatics, learning about the evolution and architecture of computers, operating systems (Windows), and practical applications of MS-OFFICE (Word, Excel) and the Internet. The course aims at the development of basic knowledge and skills in ICT issues, strengthening autonomous work and data analysis. Assessment is based on a 100% written final examination that includes theory and problem-solving through the development of spreadsheets.
