Operations Management and Quality Management

This course (4th semester, 6 ECTS) focuses on the basic principles and techniques of managing operational processes in businesses and organizations, aiming to optimize the production of goods and provision of services. It covers workflow design and management, inventory management, production planning, and quality management (ISO, Six Sigma, TQM, Statistical Quality Control). The goal is to equip students with theoretical knowledge and practical tools for decision-making that enhance efficiency and quality. Assessment is via a written final exam (100%). The course is taught in Greek, with the possibility of attending in English for Erasmus students.
