The course on Theory of Economic Fluctuations and European Economy analyzes economic policy implementation in a monetary union through mathematical models. Students will understand concepts such as monetary union, fiscal and monetary policy, moral hazard, and time consistency, developing the ability to define, apply, and communicate economic arguments and solve problems using mathematical methods. Assessment is via written exams 100%, with a bonus possibility from optional assignments.
