Course Outline
e-Class
This course (7th semester, 5 ECTS) introduces students to basic principles, techniques, and skills for effective planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of projects. It examines all stages of a project’s life cycle (from initiation to delivery and evaluation), emphasizing time, cost, quality, HR, risk, and communication management. It combines theoretical approaches with practical tools like Gantt charts, CPM/PERT analysis, and basic elements of Agile and Scrum methodologies. Through case studies and group exercises, students develop leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, using modern digital tools and business intelligence tools. Assessment consists of a written final exam (50%) and a semester written assignment (50%). The course is taught in Greek, with availability in English for Erasmus students.
