This course (8th semester, 6 ECTS) aims at understanding phenomena related to labor relations and their correlation with real problems of production, the firm, and the economy. Students learn to apply their knowledge in handling labor relations within the production process. It covers the operation of labor relations institutions, industrial conflicts and their effect, the European labor relations system and EU policy, labor relations functionaries (employers’ and employees’ trade unions, role of the state), the collective bargaining system, and the Greek labor relations system. Also, special labor law topics and handling labor conflicts are examined. Assessment is a final exam (written or oral) 100%. The course is taught in Greek and offered to Erasmus students.
