This course (5th semester, 5 ECTS) introduces students to Network Economics and applied economics in the field of transport, supply chain, and related sectors (tourism, energy, infrastructure management). It develops business management theory and models, emphasizing transport, distribution, and logistics companies. Particular emphasis is placed on methodologies for developing, managing, operating, and evaluating transport systems, networks, and infrastructure investment plans. Students learn service pricing, business plan evaluation, formation of development and location variables, calculation of performance and efficiency parameters, and the use of new technologies. Assessment is via a written final exam (100%). The course is taught in Greek, with availability in English for Erasmus students.
