This course (5th semester, 5 ECTS) examines the role of Human Resources Management as a strategic partner in modern organizations. It covers key functions such as recruitment, selection, development, appraisal, retention, compensation, and labor relations. It analyzes the effects of the legal and global environment, as well as current issues such as diversity training, sexual harassment policies, and benefit costs. Its goal is for students to understand basic HRM theories and models, analyze data trends, and apply their knowledge to case studies. Assessment is via a written exam including comprehension and problem-solving questions, as well as individual assignments with presentation. The course is taught in Greek, with availability in English for Erasmus students.
