Macroeconomic Theory II

This course (3rd semester, 6 ECTS) deepens into macroeconomic theory, focusing on the long-term equilibrium of the economy, the relationship between unemployment and inflation, and the role of economic expectations. It covers specific issues such as business cycles, fiscal issues, and consumption/savings models. Its goal is the development of analytical and critical economic thinking so that students can use macroeconomic theory to analyze current economic issues. Assessment includes a written examination with multiple-choice tests (50%) and problem-solving (50%). The course is taught in Greek via eclass.
