Course Outline
e-Class

This undergraduate course (2nd semester, 6 ECTS) deepens into consumption and production theory, analyzing utility maximization, the derivation of the demand curve, production functions, and cost theory. It also covers special topics such as behavior under risk and uncertainty (probabilities, expected utility) and asymmetric information (moral hazard, adverse selection), using diagrammatic and mathematical tools (e.g., Lagrange method). The goal is the development of critical thinking and problem-solving, with assessment conducted exclusively through written exams including theory and problem-solving.
