The undergraduate course (6th semester*, 5 ECTS) introduces students to optimization methods for solving business problems and decision-making. It covers Linear Programming (geometric/algebraic solution, sensitivity analysis, dual problem), Integer, Parametric, Dynamic, and Non-linear Programming, as well as Multi-objective Programming. It requires prior knowledge in Statistics, Mathematics, Informatics, and Business Administration. It aims to develop decision-making and project planning skills. Assessment includes semester exercises (20%) and a written final exam (80%) with problem-solving, while the course is also offered in English for Erasmus students.
