Dr Konstantinos J. Hazakis is Professor at the Department of Economics in Democritus University of Thrace and a research fellow at the Institute of International Economic Relations in Athens. He holds a B.Sc. from Panteion University of Athens, a M.Sc. from London School of Economics and a Ph.D. from Panteion University of Athens. He has published three books in Greek and he is the author of several articles of economic policy in academic journals. His research interests include European political economy, economic development, institutional economics, international economic policy coordination and Group-7 economic summits.
