Assistant Professor

Dr. Charis Vlados holds a doctoral degree awarded with “Mention très Honorable” for his thesis on the types and forms of evolutionary integration in the globalization of businesses operating in Greece. This was undertaken within the framework of the Research and Study Center of Multinational Enterprises (C.E.R.E.M) of the University “Paris X, Nanterre.” His main research focus is on the fields of business strategy, competitiveness, entrepreneurship, economic policy, and globalization. He has also established and developed the “Stra.Tech.Man approach” in the field of business dynamics. Charis Vlados has collaborated with various research centers and served as a business consultant, both in Greece and abroad, for about twenty years. He currently teaches as a tenured Assistant Professor in the subject of “International Economic Relations and Entrepreneurship” at the Department of Economics of the Democritus University of Thrace, having previously taught in undergraduate programs at the Universities of Aegean and Peloponnese. He also teaches in the Executive MBA of the University of Aegean, the interdepartmental postgraduate program “Local and Regional Development and Local Government” at the University of Peloponnese, and the MBA of the University of Nicosia. Lastly, Charis Vlados has written more than 150 works, including monographs, books, and articles in peer-reviewed international scientific journals.
