This course (5th semester*, 5 ECTS) is a study of economic policy implementation, focusing on the methodological analysis of its goals, instruments, and basic models. Students understand the necessity, goals, and instruments of economic policy (fiscal, monetary, credit, exchange rate). They become familiar with fixed and variable target models, including the three-equation model (Taylor rule, Phillips curve) and crisis management (inflation, demand, supply). They develop critical and analytical thinking for evaluating economic policies. Assessment is via a written exam with short-answer questions (50%) and problem-solving (50%). The course is taught in Greek.
