This course (8th semester, 5 ECTS) focuses on the analysis and understanding of financing tools available to businesses for their growth and sustainability. It emphasizes the analysis and evaluation of alternative forms of financing (bank credits, corporate bonds, Factoring, Leasing, Venture Capital). Students acquire knowledge on criteria for selecting financing solutions, their costs and risks, and strategic capital management. Special mention is made of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and the role of financing tools, mergers, and acquisitions in their growth and extroversion. Assessment is via written exams (80%), with an optional assignment possibility (20%). The course is taught in Greek.
